Kevin Edmunds is Chief Operating Officer of the Business Environment Council, Hong Kong's first not-for-profit business association dedicated to corporate sustainability. With 15 years' experience in Asia and Europe, Mr Edmunds specialises in green buildings and the sustainable built environment. He initiated HK BEAM (Hong Kong's Building Environmental Assessment Method) green building labeling, and is currently the Vice Chairman of the BEAM Society. He has overseen the HK BEAM / UK BREEAM certification of over 300 premises in Hong Kong, France, Holland, Greece, Spain, Portugal and the UK, enhancing the buildings' overall life-cycle, energy saving potential and sustainable urban living space.
