Law Chi-kwong
Associate Professor, Department of Social Work and Social Administration, University of Hong Kong
C.K. Law is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, University of Hong Kong. His current research is related to urban renewal, digital inclusion, management in human services, welfare reform, employment assistance programmes, and community building and planning. He has served as chairperson/treasurer/member of the executive/management committees of several welfare agencies. He also served as a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong in 1995-97 and 1998-2004. He is currently a member of the Environment Campaign Committee and the Country and Marine Parks Board of the Hong Kong SAR government. He is also a member of the governments Commission on Strategic Development and the Child Development Fund. Dr Law is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong (1976 B.Soc.Sc, 1981 M.S.W.), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (1986 M.B.A.), and the University of California, Los Angeles (1988 D.S.W.).
