Elena Kuznetsova is an Engagement Manager in McKinsey & Company's Moscow Office. She is specializing in economic development work for public sector. She has helped governments and legislature bodies of FSU countries on such projects as developing legislation on key structural reforms, drafting a comprehensive economic reform agenda, defining sector strategy, and drafting optimal regulatory and tariff strategy for a natural monopoly sector. Apart from public sector projects, she has also advised companies in other industries ranging from petroleum to telecom and banking, on strategy, organizational, business development issues.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Elena worked as a CEO of Iridium Eurasia, operator of satellite telecom system Iridium. She has graduated with honors from Moscow Institute for Physics and Technology in 1994, and from Finance Academy (Moscow, Russia) in 1999.
