Oleksiy Skrypnik
CEO, Eleks Software Company
Mr. Oleksiy Skrypnik has been the Chief Executive Officer of the leading software company Eleks Ltd. since June 2000. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he was the Technical Director and gained experience in project management, quality assurance and people management. His high level management of the Board of Directors and company strategy also gave him the opportunity to head the Chair of Business Service Cluster Task Force in September 2009.
His lecturing career at the national university "Lvivska Politechnica" began in 2006, where he taught courses such as "Introduction into Software Engineering," "Software Development Technologies" and "Project Management."
From August 1986 to 2000 he also worked for the Lvivenergo Regional Power Company, West Power Engineering and was promoted from the position of engineer to Deputy Chief of Central Dispatching. He performed power engineering calculations of steady state, transient stability studies, and investigations of parallel work of "Burstyn Island" with UCPTE specialist in the frame of CENTREL-UCPTE-Ukraine studies.
A native of Lviv, he holds a master's degree in Power Engineering with Honors and took part in the USA SABIT program in "Management of Software Companies."
He is married with four sons.
