Marina Cherenkova

Marina Cherenkova was born on July 22, 1968.

In 1992 she graduated from the State University of Donetsk with a degree with honors in English Language and Literature. Marina continued her studies at the University of Sheffield in the UK, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature. From 2000-2002, she was educated at the University of Economics and Trade and holds a Masters Degree in Business Economics. In 2004, Marina Cherenkova graduated from Pembroke College in Cambridge, UK. She is currently a student of Moscow Business School.
 
From 1996 to 2000, she was the manager of the component Developing Mining Settlements and Towns of the project of Ukruglerestrukturizatsiya and the Department for International Development Encouraging Restructuring of Ukraine's coal industry in International Mining Consultants Consulting Ltd, UK, with a total project cost of ₤3 million.
 
Marina Cherenkova worked from January 2001 to October 2002 for Birks Sinclair Ltd, UK as Project Manager in developing mono-industrial territories in Donetsk Oblast (Donetsk, Ukraine), with a total project cost of ₤2 million.
 
She then worked as a Project Manager for WYG International Ltd., UK, in the Department for International Development. Her project, the Socio-Economic Revival of Donbass, had a total project cost ₤7.5 million.
 
She is currently Director of WTD Ltd., as well as an advisor to Head of Donetsk Regional Council.
