Andrew Swart
Partner, Monitor Group
Andrew Swart is a Partner at Monitor Group, based in the Moscow and Toronto offices.
Since joining Monitor more than eight years ago, he has developed corporate and competitive growth strategies for corporate and government clients in a range of industries including oil and gas, mining, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, professional services and financial services. He brings global experience having worked for clients around the world including Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Germany, India, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
He has a depth of cross functional expertise, having advised governments and corporations on a range of issues including competitiveness studies and corporate strategies.
Prior to joining Monitor, he worked for five years for Fluor Daniel, an international Fortune 500 engineering and construction company. He also spent two years working for Anglo American Corporation, an international mining house.
He serves on the following Boards:
· Right to Play International (a global non-profit organization focused on sport for development)
· The Competitiveness Board for Donetsk
· The Competiveness Board for Lviv
Andrew was educated in South Africa where he received a Bachelors (Cum Laude) and Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Natal and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
