Andrew Barron is COO at Virgin Media, where he leads the company's operations and strategic development across broadband, TV, home phone and mobile.
Before he joined Virgin Media in 2008, Mr Barron was COO of Modern Times Group MTG AB, an international entertainment broadcasting group. He has also served as CEO of the Viasat broadcasting division of MTG. Prior to Viasat, he was CEO of Chellomedia, the channel production and distribution division of United-PanEurope Communications (now Liberty Global Inc.) and was EVP of new media and business development at the European division of The Walt Disney Company.
