Ed Vaizey MP was elected as the Member of Parliament for Wantage and Didcot in May 2005.
Mr Vaizey attended Merton College, Oxford, then spent two years working as a political researcher, before training and practising as a barrister. From 1996 - 2004 he was director of a public relations company and in 2004 he became a political speech writer. From 2006-10 he was Shadow Culture and Creative Industries Minister.
