Olaf Swantee
EVP, Europe and Sourcing, Orange France Telecom
A member of Orange France Telecom's executive board (Comex), Olaf Swantee heads operations in the Group's Europe region. This covers the Group's non-France business in Europe. Together, these operations across 11 countries serve over 60 million mobile, fixed and converged customers. Mr Swantee also leads the Group's strategic activities around Supply Chain and Sourcing, Aftercare and Sales. He represents the Group on the boards of everything everywhere (the UK joint venture between Orange France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom), Telekomunikacja Polska, Mobistar (Belgium) and Mobinil (Egypt).
Before joining Orange France Telecom, Mr Swantee had 17 years' experience in the IT industry in Europe and the United States, latterly serving as Hewlett-Packard's EMEA SVP for enterprise sales and software.
Mr Swantee holds a BA in Economics and received his European MBA from ESCP (formerly EAP) in Paris in 1989.
