Fernando Sampaio
Executive Director, Association of Brazilian Beef Exporters (ABIEC)
Fernando Sampaio Fernando Sampaio graduated in Agronomy at the Luiz de Queiroz College from the University of São Paulo in 1997, and specialized in meat markets at the ESA Angers, France. He worked in meat trading for the French company Soviba in 1999 and 2000, and for the Dutch company Meat Import Zandbergen from 2001 until 2008. Since 2009 he was called at the Brazilian Beef Exporters Association to work as Sustainability Coordinator and since 2010 as its Executive Director. He also takes part in the Brazilian Sustainable Beef Round Table and in the FAO Agenda of Action in support of sustainable livestock.
