Amin Khaireldin
Strategy Advisor and Board Member, ITIDA

Amin Khaireldin is currently a member and advisor of strategies to the Board of Directors of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). Additionally, Amin is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Technology Development Fund (TDF). Amin spent over 30 years at IBM holding a variety of management positions at IBM Egypt, and ultimately becoming the Country Branch Manager. After relocating to Europe, he spent five years in IBMs European headquarters holding the position of Manager of Operations and Strategy for the Middle East and Africa.  

In 2000 Amin returned home to Egypt and for four years was the Managing Director and CEO of two high-tech Egyptian companies: Triangle Group & NOL. He later managed the First Capacity Building Program, an initiative launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and financed by the Industry Modernisation Centre.
 
In December 2000 H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif, appointed Amin to chair the Business Development Workgroup in charge of proposing strategies and programs leading to the development of the telecom sector following its de-regularisation.
