Adrianne Shapira

Adrianne Shapira is the senior analyst covering the Broadlines Retail sector, which includes companies across the discount and department store sectors. Ms Shapira has been ranked in industry surveys such as Greenwich Associates, Starmine and The Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street." She became a Deputy Business Unit Leader of Consumer Products and Retail in 2008. Beyond her research responsibilities, Adrianne is co-chair of the GIR Women's Network. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 and was named managing director in 2006.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms Shapira covered retail stocks at Neuberger & Berman, an investment management company.
Ms Shapira earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1999 and a BA from Tufts University in 1992.
