Charles Finch

Born in 1962 to legendary actor and Academy Award winner Peter Finch and writer Yolanda Turnbull, Charles grew up in Jamaica and was educated in France and Scotland. His grandfather, George Ingle-Finch who climbed Everest with Mallory, was the first man to use oxygen at high altitude and invented the down filled Puffa jacket later developed by brands such as Montcler.
Mr Finch started in the movie business in 1982 writing, directing and producing with an apprenticeship with Lord Putnam and later with legendary Hollywood producers Peter Guber and John Peters.
As a writer and director, credits include "Priceless Beauty" (Christopher Lambert & Diane Lane), "Where Sleeping Dogs Lie" (Sharon Stone, Tom Sizemore and Dylan McDermott), "Never Ever" (Sandrine Bonnaire, Jean Rocheport). Films produced include "Bad Girls" (Drew Barrymore, Andie McDowell, Madeline Stowe, Mary Stewart-Masterson), "The Maddening" (Burt Reynolds, Angie Dickinson, Mia Sara), "Spider" (Ralph Fiennes, Gabriel Bryne, Miranda Richardson).
As an agent, Mr Finch joined the William Morris Agency as Head of International Operations in 1997 and was responsible for working with artists including Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Wilem Dafoe, Cate Blanchett and Kristin Scott-Thomas, as well as corporate clients including Granada, Carlton, Pearson, Channel 4. During his tenure, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and "The Weakest Link" were sold by the London office into the US market.
In 2005, Mr Finch founded Finch & Partners creating a London and Paris based media company representing and advising global luxury brands, entertainment companies, celebrated individuals, nation states, and philanthropic organisations on all aspects of image from public relations, brand development, product endorsement and placement, to events and marketing.
Global brand clients include the Fiat Group, Ralph Lauren, LVMH, Louis Vuitton, Moet Chandon, Martini, Gucci, Chanel, IWC, Jaeger Le Coultre, TAG Heuer and The Weinstein Company. Philanthropic clients include The Raisa Gorbachev Foundation, The Serpentine Gallery, The British Forces Foundation and Not On Our Watch. Individual clients of the firm include Kevin Spacey, John Malkovich, Cate Blanchett, Willem Dafoe, Gerard Depardieu, Isabel Huppert, President Gorbachev, Alexandre and Evgeny Lebedev. Travel clients include the Hotel Du Cap, Le Chateau St Martin and The Lowell.
Outside his core business Mr Finch remains passionate about movies and continues to produce films. In 2005 and 2006 Finch Exec Produced "His Big White Self" and "Ghosts", both by Nick Broomfield, "Ruby Chequer" by Jan Dunn starring Bob Hoskins, "Camille" directed by Greg McKenzie starring Sienna Miller and James Franco and "Mutant Chronicles" directed by Simon Hunter. In 2008 he Exec Produced "Battle for Haditha" directed by Nick Broomfield which won the prestigious Grierson Award for feature length documentary drama.
