16 October 2008, Royal Courts of Justice, London
The Financial Times is delighted to announce that the 2nd Annual FT Innovative Lawyers Awards will take place on 16 October 2008 at the Royal Courts of Justice, London.
Coinciding with the Awards announcements, The FT will publish its third annual ranking of lawyers on 17 October: Expanding on our success in previous years, the project report for 2008 will include an increase in coverage of private practice lawyers in Europe, in-house legal departments at Europes top companies, US law firms in Europe and the UK Bar. New sections will include public-private projects in Europe, where we hope to identify leading public sector lawyers, and the European judiciary. We will also continue with our selection of the10 most innovative individuals who arise in our research across the profession. In addition, the report will include our ground-breaking index of the top 50 innovative law firms in Europe.
Why Attend?
After a sell out event in 2007 with over 350 senior attendees, including the managing and senior partners of many of the leading law firms. The 2nd Annual FT Innovative Lawyers Awards will be bigger and attended by the award recipients, as well as over 400 noteworthy professionals in the legal community, for an evening of socialising with their peers and recognising those who have achieved honours.
The importance and popularity of the Awards are reflected by the speed with which table bookings are made. You are advised, therefore, to make an early reservation in order to secure a well-positioned table.
The FT are pleased to welcome again in 2008, Youth at Risk, a charity, whose mission is to enable society's most disadvantaged, difficult and damaged young people to transform their lives and build a future beyond their present expectations. The charity will be collecting donations at the event.
