Elio Leoni-Sceti, joined EMI Music in September 2008 as its Chief Executive and is leading EMI’s transformation from a traditional record label into a consumer-led music company.

With a catalogue and roster of artists ranging from Coldplay to Katy Perry and The Beatles to Sir Simon Rattle, EMI is one of the most famous names in the music business. With the far reaching changes in technology and consumer behaviour brought on by the transition from analogue to digital, over 20 per cent of EMI’s revenue now comes from digital sales. Under Mr Leoni-Sceti’s leadership, EMI is expanding into new areas of music consumption, investing in innovation and bringing in new expertise to provide value-adding services and products to its artists, consumers and business partners.

Mr Leoni-Sceti draws on a stellar 20 year career in innovation, marketing and brand management while at consumer products companies Procter & Gamble and Reckitt Benckiser.
