Jan Levy
Managing Director, Three Hands
Upon graduating from Edinburgh University Jan stumbled into entrepreneurial life with the successful start-up Student Pages, a popular source of information and discounts for students all over the UK. After seven years as a director of the business Jan undertook an MBA at IESE Business School, Barcelona. Whilst there, he also volunteered with NGOs in La Paz, Bolivia, sparking his interest in community engagement and the role that business plays in society.
Following this experience, he joined Business in the Community, working with member companies on corporate community engagement initiatives. This was a stepping stone to Three Hands, a small company that links businesses with community organisations and social issues, for shared benefit (www.threehands.co.uk). He became MD in 2009.
