Irene Dorner
President and CEO

Irene Dorner was named President and CEO of HSBC USA Inc. and HSBC Bank USA, N.A. in January 2010, subsidiaries of HSBC Holdings plc (NYSE:HBC), one of the worlds largest banking and financial services organizations. She also serves as Director HSBC North America Holdings Inc., HSBC USA Inc. and HSBC Bank USA, N.A.
Ms Dorner irst joined the organization in 1982 as an in-house lawyer of Samuel Montagu & Co Limited, the merchant banking arm of Midland Bank, which was later acquired by the HSBC Group. She has held positions as Chief Operating Officer of Treasury and Capital Markets, and General Manager of Marketing and Human Resources functions for HSBC Bank plc. Ms Dorner also had responsibility for HSBC Bank plc's branch network in the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and has also held the position of General Manager, Premier and Wealth Management of HSBC Bank plc prior to being appointed Deputy Chairman and CEO HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad in 2007.
Ms Dorner recently served as President of Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), a member of The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) and Institute of Bankers Malaysia (IBBM) and as a trustee of Aged European Fund (AEF).
Ms Dorner graduated from St. Annes College Oxford with an MA in Jurisprudence.

Conrado Engel
CEO and President
HSBC Brazil
Conrado Engel took over the position of HSBC Bank Brazil President and CEO in June 2009. Mr Engel joined HSBC Group in October 2003. From January 2007 to May 2009, he was based in Hong Kong, as Head of PFS in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr Engel started his career in 1981 with Citibank. He was also Head of Credit Cards with Banco Nacional e Unibanco, from 1992 to 1997.
In 1998, Mr Engel was nominated President of the consumer finance of Losango, which became part of HSBC Bank Brasil as a result of the acquisition of Lloyds TSB assets in Brazil by the Group.
From August 2004 until his move to Hong Kong, he was a member of HSBC Bank Brasil Executive Committee and Head of PFS in Brazil.
Mr Engel graduated in aeronautical engineering from ITA (Technological Institute of Aviation).

Tarek Farahat

Tarek Farahat heads the operations of Procter & Gamble in one of its large subsidiaries, Brazil. Mr Farahat has served the Procter &Gamble company for more than 21 years. He has versatile experience. He served the company in Saudi, Switzerland, France, Germany, Venezuela and Brazil, in country, regional and global roles. Mr. Farahat is a recognized thought leader and a change agent with a remarkable track record of business and organizational results. Some of his business achievements are documented in a Harvard Business Study, and are being taught in MBA classes. Mr Farahat serves as a Director in United Way Brazil as well as in the Brazilian Arab Chamber of Commerce.
Henny Sender

Henny Sender joined the Financial Times as its International Financial Correspondent in 2007.
Previously, Ms. Sender was the Wall Street Journal's senior special writer for the Money & Investing section and covered private equity and hedge funds.
Before joining the Journal, Ms. Sender worked in Hong Kong for nearly ten years and covered regional finance for the Wall Street Journal Asia and the Far Eastern Economic Review; prior to that she was in Tokyo for five years for Institutional Investor.
Last year, Ms. Sender was part of a team at the Journal which won a Loeb award for coverage of the meltdown of Amaranth, a hedge fund. Her work on the overseas Chinese received a citation from the Overseas Press Club and she was a finalist for the National Magazine Awards. Her book on India, The Kashmiri Pundits, was published by Oxford University Press.
Ms. Sender holds an MS from the Columbia University School of Journalism. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Ms. Sender is based in New York.

James Turley

James S. Turley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ernst & Young, a leading global professional services organization providing assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. Mr Turley began his career with Ernst & Young in 1977 in the US firm's Houston office. Over the years, he has held a series of leadership positions throughout Ernst & Young. He was named Metropolitan New York Area Managing Partner of Ernst & Young LLP in 1998 and was appointed Deputy Chairman in 2000. In July 2001, he became Chairman and CEO. Based in New York and London, Mr Turley serves as senior advisory partner for many of Ernst & Young's largest global clients.

Throughout his career, Mr Turley has actively supported numerous civic, cultural and business organizations. He co-chairs the Russia Foreign Investment Advisory Council. He is on the Board of Directors for Boy Scouts of America, Catalyst, the National Corporate Theater Fund and on the Board of Trustees for Rice University. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable and IBLAC (International Business Leaders' Advisory Council for the Mayor of Shanghai). In October, 2007, he was appointed Chair for the Governing Board of the U.S. Center for Audit Quality and in March, 2009, was appointed Chair for Catalyst.
Mr Turley holds a Master's and a BA in Accounting from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
