India Going Global: Looking Beyond the Crisis

The shape of Indian business has been transformed in almost breathtaking fashion from inward-looking enterprises hampered by post-colonial bureaucracy to acquisitive, market-leading global companies driven by technological and entrepreneurial innovation. The financial crisis and its impact on the global economy have brought new challenges. Do they threaten the progress made so far, or can they provide even greater opportunities? 

The Financial Times, in association with HSBC, will gather around 50 CEOs, CFOs and other C-suite level decision-makers representing a range of key business sectors for an exclusive, invitation-only dinner forum to discuss the global expansion of Indian business.
 
The event will be chaired by Joseph Leahy, Mumbai Bureau Chief of the Financial Times, and the winner of the Journalist of the Year prize at the 2009 Society of Publishers in Asia awards.
