Kakha Baindurashvili
Minister of Finance of Georgia

Kakha Baindurashvili has been the Minister of Finance of Georgia since February 2009. In 2000 he graduated from Tbilisi State University, Department of Economy, and in 2006 he was granted a Master's degree in economic development from Williams College, Williamstown, USA. His subsequent roles include: Editor with the agency "Prime News" (1999-2000); Head of Investment Projects Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia (2000-2002); UNDP consultant in a UN development project (2002-2004); Adviser of the Prime Minister of Georgia (2004-2005); Chairman of the Tax Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia (June 2006 to March 2007); and the First Deputy of the Finance Minister of Georgia (2007).
