Ambassador Gary Doer

In October, 2009, Gary Doer assumed his responsibilities as Canada's 23rd representative to the United States of America.
Prior to taking up his current position in Washington, Ambassador Doer served as Premier of Manitoba for ten years. During that time, he worked extensively with U.S. Governors to enhance Canada-U.S. cooperation on trade, agriculture, water protection, climate change and renewable energy.
Ambassador Doer won three consecutive elections as Premier of Manitoba with successive increased majorities. In 2005, he was named by Business Week magazine as one of the top 20 international leaders on climate change. His government introduced balanced budgets during each of his ten years in office while reducing many taxes, including a plan to eliminate small business tax. As Premier, he led strategic investments in health care, education, and training and infrastructure.
Ambassador Doer hails from Winnipeg. He is married with two daughters.
Peter Donnelly

Peter Donnelly is President of Canadian Operations. In this capacity, he has responsibility for the leadership of the Canadian organization which serves a broad range of commercial and federal clients. Mr. Donnelly is also responsible for pursuing new business in both the public and private sectors in Canada. Previously he was Vice-President of Canadian Business Development, Vice President for Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Technology & Consumer within CSC's Australia Group and Vice President and Global Account Executive on the BHP Billiton Account.
He spent 3 years overseas running CSC's Commercial Operations which included clients such as Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and Bluescope Steel. During that time, Mr Donnelly also managed a portfolio of accounts within the Diversified Services team and led several global new business pursuits. He previously served as Account Executive and Senior Applications Portfolio Lead on the Nortel Account.
Prior to joining CSC in 2000, Mr Donnelly was Senior Research and Design Manager with Nortel Networks. He also served as General Manager for Eastern Ontario with Ticketmaster Canada.
Mr. Donnelly attended Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, majoring in Software Computer Sciences.
The Honourable Ed Fast
Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway

The Honourable Ed Fast, Canada's Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, was first elected to the House of Commons in 2006, and was re-elected in 2008 and 2011.
Prior to his appointment to the Ministry, Mr. Fast served as a member of the standing committees on Canadian Heritage and on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, and as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights.
Mr. Fast's Private Member's Bill C-277 to amend the Criminal Code to increase the maximum sentence for luring children over the Internet for sexual purposes from 5 to 10 years in prison, received Royal Assent in 2007 and became the law of Canada.
In 1985, Mr. Fast was elected to the Abbotsford School Board and served two terms. In 1996, he was elected to Abbotsford City Council where he served for nine years. During that time, he served variously as deputy mayor and chair of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Commission.
After graduating from law school at the University of British Columbia in 1982, he started his own
law firm, Linley Welwood.
Mr. Fast and his wife, Annette, have lived in Abbotsford for over 29 years and have four daughters.

Ian Gordon joined Trend Micro in early 2010 to kick start its growing Canadian operations. With over 20-years experience in product management, marketing, and sales of high technology products, Ian has spent 15 years specializing in security software for critical infrastructures and wireless networks. As a co-founder of Credant Technologies and having held senior product management roles at Entrust, Ian brings entrepreneurial drive and enterprise savvy to Trend Micro Canada, the new business unit established by Trend Micro, global leader in server and virtualization security.
Mr Gordon has a Bachelors of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Drew Morin

As TeleCommunication Systems' (TCS) Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Drew Morin is responsible for technical direction, coordination, and development activities across the company's business units. Mr. Morin has extensive experience in analysis, design, development, and implementation of integrated voice/data/video communication systems for a wide variety of applications in both the government and commercial sectors. Prior to joining TCS in 1988, Mr. Morin was a Communications Systems Engineer for BDM Corporation. There he designed, developed, and implemented next-generation systems, including a tactical wireless data communications network and one of the first secure local-area networks. Mr. Morin holds a bachelor of science degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and a master of science degree in systems engineering from George Mason University.

Michael Roach continues to lead and execute CGI's Build and Buy profitable growth strategy, which has led to significant growth. As a result, CGI's global footprint has expanded to 125 offices in 16 countries with global delivery centers on three continents and 31,000 professionals worldwide.
Prior to joining CGI, Mr. Roach served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bell Sygma Inc., a Bell Canada subsidiary formed to provide services to Canada's full-service telecommunications companies. In 1998, he spearheaded the merger of Bell Sygma with CGI, effectively doubling the size of CGI. Mr. Roach's earlier career with Bell Canada spanned 25 years.
Mr. Roach sits on the board of directors of CGI, Yellow Media Inc., Innovapost and the Conference Board of Canada. He is a Trustee of The Conference Board, Inc. (U.S.), and a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science, as well as an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario.
Mr. Roach maintains an active involvement in the Montreal community by lending his support to various charitable projects and events.

Don is Adjunct Professor of Management, Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He holds a B.Sc. in Psychology and Statistics, an M.Ed. specializing in Research Methodology, and three Doctor of Laws (Hon) granted from the University of Alberta in 2001, Trent University in 2006 and McMaster University in 2010. He is involved extensively in the transformation of education, working with many universities, school boards and Educational Secretaries and Ministers around the world. Paul Taylor is the Personal Technology Columnist and US Telecommunications Editor for the Financial Times. Mr Taylor's weekly Friday column focuses on new developments in software, hardware and IT services. His beat covers all aspects of personal technology and telecommunications.
Mr Taylor also writes and moderates the Gadget Guru Q&A blog, which appears on the FT-IT website, part of the FT.com subscription package and is a frequent contributor to the FT's Digital Business technology section.
He joined the FT in 1978 and has since served as Local Government Correspondent, Assistant News Editor, Americas Page Editor, New York Correspondent, Foreign News Editor, SE Asia Business Correspondent and Management Writer. He was the FT's UK-based IT Correspondent for most of the 1990s.
Mr Taylor left the FT briefly in 2000 to help found a web-based technology analysis start-up and moved back to New York, where he is now based.
