Lawrence Goldenhersh
President and CEO, Enviance

Mr. Goldenhersh blends the entrepreneurial experience of founding and managing Enviance with a successful 15-year career in the practice of law with one of the nation's most prestigious law firms. Mr. Goldenhersh founded Enviance in 1999 to drive a sea change in compliance management by leveraging the revolutionary power of the Internet.

In an era where the price of carbon will redefine business, Enviance is the only proven software supplier that uses the power of the Internet to unlock the data needed for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management, carbon accounting, regulatory compliance and sustainability programs. Corporate executives and those with specific responsibility for EHS in Fortune 1000 companies and government organizations have relied on Enviance to manage GHG data and a wide range of regulatory compliance risks for nearly a decade.

As President and CEO, Mr. Goldenhersh is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company. Today, the Enviance System, built by environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance experts, is deployed in 45 countries, and is relied upon by major utility, oil and gas, energy, chemical, retail and general manufacturing companies, as well as the federal government, to manage greenhouse gas and EHS compliance over the Internet.

Prior to founding Enviance, Mr. Goldenhersh was a partner at Irell & Manella, a Los Angeles firm of more than 150 lawyers, where he served on the firm's management committee. Mr. Goldenhersh specialized in complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property litigation and environmental/resource disputes. During his tenure, Mr. Goldenhersh's clients included the H.J. Heinz Company and Speaker of the California Assembly. Prior to beginning the practice of law, Mr. Goldenhersh served as a law clerk to The Honorable Richard P. Matsch, U.S. District Court Judge.

Mr. Goldenhersh has published regularly on trends in environmental compliance, carbon risk management, carbon accounting, software as a service and supply chain environmentalism and has lectured at Duke University on performance-based compliance organizations. Larry has also spoken at many investor, technology and environmental, health and safety conferences.
