Prof. Raymond Freymann
Managing Director, BMW Group Research and Technology
Dr. Raymond Freymann has been Managing Director of BMW Group Research and Technology since 2003.
He began his career as a Scientist at the Institute of Aeroelasticity of the DLR in Göttingen (German Aerospace Research Estab.) later taking up the post as Scientist at the Air Force Flight Dynamics Lab. at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton (Ohio).
Prof. Freymann joined BMW in 1986 as Head of the Structural Dynamics & Acoustics Division later taking on responsibilities including Director of Vehicle-Physics at the BMW R&D Center, Director of Vehicle Research at BMW Group before assuming his current position.
In 2002, he was nominated Professor at the Technical University of Munich.
