Martin Meech
Group Property Director, Travis Perkins

Martin Meech was appointed Group Property Director of Travis Perkins Plc and CEO of Travis Perkins Properties Ltd in September 2005. Travis Perkins has a freehold portfolio with a market value in excess of £400m. In 2006 Travis Perkins created Merchant Properties Unit Trust, an innovative investment vehicle.

Between 1993 - 2005, Mr Meech was Managing Director of property for DSG International Plc where he managed property development totalling in excess of £0.5bn.

His previous roles include Property & Development Director at Isosceles Subsidiary, Gateway Food Markets Limited and Property Director of Halfords plc, part of Ward White plc at the time.

Mr Meech is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chairman of the Property Advisory Group of the British Retail Consortium and Member of the Bank of England Property Forum.

Mr Meech has been a Non-Executive Board member of Quintain Estates and Development Plc since July 2000 and is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
