Business Book of the Year 2009 Award Dinner

The Financial Times and Goldman Sachs are delighted to announce that The Rt Hon Lord Mandelson, First Secretary of State, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation & Skills, will be giving the keynote address at this year's Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award Dinner, which will be held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in Kensington, London on the 29th October, 2009.

The Award Dinner will bring together a select group of business leaders and commentators, as well as prominent figures from the publishing world. Lionel Barber, Editor of the Financial Times, and Lloyd Blankfein, Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs, will host the event and announce the author who will succeed last year's winner Mohamed El-Erian, who was presented with the 2008 Award in New York for his book When Markets Collide.

Although attendance at the dinner is strictly by invitation only, individuals who would like to be considered for a place at the dinner may apply for a place on the invitation list.
