Executing Investor Strategies in a Fast-Changing Marketplace
The Financial Times and its partners FTfm and Ignites Asia will gather the leading minds in the asset management industry for a landmark inaugural Summit focused on the strategic opportunities being generated across mature and fast-growing emerging markets in Asia and the challenges that have to be overcome for the region's potential to be realised.
FT Business of Asset Management will feature keynote presentations and high-level panels involving CEOs and CIOs from the world's top asset management companies, brokers, custodial banks, technology providers and other key industry participants as well as leading economists, regulators and institutional investors to discuss in detail the major factors affecting this rapidly evolving sector at a time of momentous change in the global economy.
The Summit will explore the impact on investment and the asset management industry of the regulatory reforms that have followed the financial crisis. It will also look at the growth strategies of key institutional investors such as pension funds and sovereign wealth funds, and the new investment opportunities available to them. Key emerging markets such as China, where the asset management industry remains substantially under-developed, will also be discussed.
The event will be co-chaired by leading Financial Times journalists, including Henny Sender, the FT's Chief International Finance Correspondent, Pauline Skypala, Editor, FTfm, and Rita Raagas De Ramos, Managing Editor of Ignites Asia.
