Sundeep Tucker
Asia Financial Correspondent, Financial Times

Sundeep Tucker was appointed the Financial Times Asia Financial Correspondent, based in Hong Kong, in July 2006. The role covers merger and acquisitions activity in Asia plus regional business and financial affairs. Previously, he was the Australia/Pacific Correspondent based in Australia, the Investment Correspondent based in London, and the Editor of Observer, the FTs irreverent diary column, beginning in 2000. Before joining the FT, Mr Tucker was the Editor of City Diary at the Daily Telegraph and also responsible for the weekly Business of Sport column. From 1994 to 1995, he was a reporter on the trade title, Financial Adviser, covering mortgages and investments. In 2004, he won an award in the institutional investment category of the BVCA Private Equity and Venture Capitalist Journalist awards. Mr Tucker was awarded a first class honours degree in Politics and History from the London School of Economics.
