Anil Ahuja
Head of Asia, 3i
Anil Ahuja joined 3i in April 2005 and has more than 20 years' international financial services experience. He is one of the earliest private equity investors in India, with over 10 years' investment experience. Mr Ahuja leads 3i's investment teams to deliver strategic objectives across Asia, working with the firms local business heads in China, Singapore and India. Prior to joining 3i, from 1997 to 2005, Mr Ahuja worked at JP Morgan Partners Asia, overseeing investments in the Indian market. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1997, he was with Citibank Mumbai. Mr Ahuja currently serves on the boards of Adani Enterprises Ltd, Vijai Electricals and Nimbus Communications Ltd and has previously served on various boards including Adani Power, HDFC Bank, HDFC Securities, Dominos Pizza India Ltd, MTR Foods and Microland. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi.
