Lionel Barber is the editor of the Financial Times, appointed in November 2005. Previously, he was the newspapers US managing editor, based in New York, responsible for the US edition and all US news on FT.com.

Joining the FT in 1985, he was the editor of the continental European edition between 2000 and 2002 and from 1998 until 2000 he was the news editor. He has also been the Brussels bureau chief.

In February, 2011 he was appointed to the Board of Trustees at Tate.  He is also an Advisory Board member of the International Centre for Journalists.

Reena SenGupta is an expert analyst of the legal profession. She is a journalist, editor and an entrepreneur. With a fifteen year history of groundbreaking research and reports, many of her projects have begun to change the commercial legal profession. For example, she devised the idea of ranking lawyers by innovation and best practice, which is now the FT Innovative Lawyers Report. Ms SenGupta founded RSG Consulting in 2001 to give research, writing and consulting services to the legal profession. She is a regular contributor of feature articles to the FT and devised the research methodology and editorial format that currently underpins all the Chambers and Partners Guides, which are widely recognised as the leading guides to lawyers available.
