According to the IFC and the World Bank, Georgia is one of the easiest places to do business in Eastern and Central Europe and the entire post-Soviet region, thanks to its low levels of corruption and the ease and speed with which foreign-owned businesses can be established - it was ranked as number one worldwide reformer in 2005-2010. With a real GDP growth rate (2010) of +6.4%, Georgia's main strength lies in its location; it is a strategic business hub that offers direct access to European and Asian markets.
Now in its fifth successful year, the FT Invest in Georgia Forum is a high-level, half-day event which will explore the Republic of Georgia's key investment opportunities.
