The FT and Citi have partnered to recognise the emerging leaders who have developed original and practical solutions that have a positive and fundamental impact on cities and their inhabitants. The FT/Citi Ingenuity Awards: Urban Ideas in Action programme, supported by Citi, will recognise ingenious individuals who have developed solutions to urban challenges in the fields of education, healthcare, energy and infrastructure that, by approaching problems from new and creative angles, have made life better, healthier or more convenient for people living and working in cities today.

Criteria and metrics for the Awards have been developed by INSEAD, one of the world's leading and largest graduate business schools.
