Victor DeLuca
President, Jessie Smith Noyes Foundation
Vic has been the president of the Jessie Smith Noyes Foundation since 2000. Established in 1947, the Foundation promotes a sustainable and just social and natural system. It supports grassroots organizations nationally and in New York City. Vic joined the Foundation in 1991 as a program officer.
Vic is a board member of the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers and the Funders Network for Population, Reproductive Health and Rights. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Diversity in Philanthropy Project and the Council on Foundations Committee on Family Philanthropy.
A former VISTA Volunteer, Vic was the director of the Ironbound Community Corporation, a Newark community-based organization. He is a founding and current board member of New Jersey Citizen Action.
Vic is serving his third, three-year term on the Maplewood Township Committee (NJ), currently serving as Vice-Mayor. From 2001 through 2003, he served as Maplewoods Mayor. Vic is a former Commissioner of the New Jersey Citizens Clean Elections Commission, which monitored the states first publicly funded legislative elections.
