Auden Schendler is Executive Director of Sustainability at Aspen Skiing Company. A LEED (green building) certified professional, Auden was previously research associate in corporate sustainability at Rocky Mountain Institute. His writing has been published in Harvard Business Review, the L.A. Times, Salon.com, Orion, and many other journals, and his work has been featured in Outside, Fast Company, Travel and Leisure and Businessweek. Auden has testified to Congress about climate change and lectured internationally. Named a global warming innovator in TIME magazines 2006 climate change special issue, Auden was also one of six international recipients of the 2007 EPA Climate Savers award.
